The Romantic Chemise is versatile, suitable under 16th to 18th century corsets, or on its own as a nightgown. This chemise has wrist-length full sleeves which finish with a 1 ½” self-fabric flounce. The neckline is softly gathered with an adjustable elastic drawstring. The neck and sleeve edges are untrimmed, and the sleeve can be worn plain or with garters (last 2 photos). The length of this chemise is mid-calf, with a side-panel adding fullness at the hem.
