Please provide your measurements for a more precise fit. We may suggest starting with a fitting corset to ensure we have the best fit possible as custom sized garments are not returnable.
*Size Chart Exception: c. 1950 Stevie is sized differently; email us your current bra size, full bust, underbust, and waist measures and we will recommend the appropriate size.
Corsets:
These corsets are sized for moderate lacing. Order the size that best fits the bust, waist and full hip measures. If measurements span two size ranges order the size that fits two of the three measurements. Each style of corset is alterable at the side seams and straps. Every person can be laced to differing degrees and this will impact the fit of the corset. To ensure your best fit, please provide your measurements at checkout.

Petticoats:
Order the size that best fits the waist and full hip measures. If measurements span two size ranges order the larger size. All Petticoats have two-four alteration tucks providing a total of 4" of added length, and adjustable waists. The Peasant, 17th Century,18th Century, and Ruffled Petticoat lengths are 38”; the Late 19th Century and Tulip length is 42”, the Bustle Petticoat length is 40", the Mid 20th Century length is 24", and the Ballet Petticoat length is 25". Refer to style listings for finished lengths and circumferences. Custom lengths available by request.
Skirt Supports:
Order the size that best fits the waist measure. The Cone Farthingale hem circumference measures between 90” and 95”. The Pocket Hoop Pannier extends approximately five inches on each side. The Full Pannier is between 34” and 36” across. The Mid 19th Century Hoop circumference measures between 114” and 123” at hem. The 19th Century Bustle extends seven inches from the hip at center back.
Underwear:
Refer to the Size Chart. Sleeveless Chemises are available in five sizes; other Underwear are available in four sizes (Small-Medium, Medium-Large, X-Large, 2X-Large). For measurements in the middle of the Medium range: order a Small-Medium for a closer fitting garment, or a Medium-Large for a fuller garment.
Fitting Service:
At Period Corsets, we believe in finding our clients the best fit possible. Every Period Corsets piece includes alterable side seams, alteration tucks and adjustable waistbands. For a truly perfect fit, take advantage of our fitting service. Order any of our corsets in a size closest to your measurements. We'll send your style of choice in our standard coutil to test as a fitting corset. Through Skype, emailed photos and phone, we can then assess what changes, if any, are necessary to provide you with a custom fit.
